Yellow were 2-0 down within ten minutes, Dan and Alan both showing aplomb in front of goal. A long period of not much happening and then finally a Yellow goal with ten minutes to go….game on. That’s what Red thought anyway and promptly put two more in. They were better, had the extra man and we haven’t played together in ages due to shocking attendance during the summer and were duly punished. It was reasonably close in the middle of the pitch and despite Eddie getting in good positions and getting off a few nice shots, they were more clinical near the target.
